We had a great dinner at 59 Almshouse in Richboro. Food and service were excellent
This June, my girlfriend and I had the great pleasure of dining at 49 Almshouse Road in Richboro PA – it was absolutely fantastic.
Dining and Drinks
Gwendolyn, our server, ensured our dining experience was both effortless and pleasurable. She made for an enjoyable evening that truly set a relaxing tone.
Starting our evening off right, we began with two cocktails: Blood Orange Cosmo and Hickory Smoked Old Fashioned. Both drinks were expertly mixed and presented; with the Smoked Old Fashioned standing out as its unique smokey flavor and presentation. The smoking drink is encased in a bell jar and unveiled at the table.
As appetizers, we chose a Crabcake which was perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly. For our main course we enjoyed Margherita Flatbread which offered fresh ingredients with an irresistibly crunchy crust – we even indulged in half rack of Ribs which was delectably tender, flavorful, and fell right off of the bone!
To end our meal on an appealingly sweet note, we indulged in the Berries & Cream Dessert. A tasty combination of fresh berries and creamy goodness, it provided the perfect refreshment at the end of our meal.
Even though the parking lot was full, we appreciated having ample parking available in adjacent lots. Furthermore, making a reservation ensured we would have a table waiting when we arrived at our destination.
Cost and summary
At $106.60, our bill came to be considered reasonable given the high quality food, beverages and service we experienced during this meal.
Overall, our experience at 59 Almshouse was both memorable and delightful. Their exceptional service, delicious food, and welcoming environment make this venue worth revisiting time after time. We highly recommend their services and look forward to returning soon.
