The Club House Diner in Bensalem is a classic diner with reasonably priced good food and great service.
My Mom and I stopped there for a late lunch. She uses a walker so the first thing I noticed was that they have two accessible ramps. The door on the east side needs to be opened from the inside. When I asked about opening the door, the waitress was happy to do so. I didn’t realize that we could have also used the ramp in the front on the west side.
You can opt for the Salad Bar which has an extensive selection of salad, pasta veggies and other goodies. We also ordered an entree.
Desert
You can probably gain a pound or two just walking by the desert case.
Cakes are available for takeout.
Most of the chairs at the table in the dining room where we were seated were on casters. This made it easy for mom to sit close to the table.
I’m not sure how long it has been under the current ownership but I remember going their for Sunday breakfast after mass in the 1970’s or 1980’s.
Summary
The Club House Diner offers great meals at reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
